Bio:

Donny Darienzo is a classically trained countertenor, who hails from Jessup, PA. Under the direction of Dr. Todd E. Ranney and Dr. Peggy Detwiller, they studied Vocal Performance at Mansfield University. Donny has performed on stage in various settings of music including opera, oratorio, and musical theater. Some roles they’ve performed: Cherubino from Le Nozze di Figaro, Prince Orlofsky from Die Fledermaus, Orpheus from Gluck’s Orpheo, Pinocchio from Shrek the Musical, and various chorus parts from Godspell, Sunday in the Park with George, and Candide. They have also recently performed in works such as Carmina Burana, Bach’s Mass in b minor, Hayden’s Creation, The Harriet Tubman Oritorio, and Moons Symphony. Alongside music, Donny also has a passion for Botany and Queer Literature.
