For Fated: The Musical, that world is enormous—and it's only getting bigger.

From Camelot and Tintagel to Avalon and the lands beyond them, from Arthur and Guinevere to Lancelot, Merlin, Nimue, Gareth, Morgana, and Mordred, and the countless characters whose choices shape the fate of the kingdom, Fated is a story filled with relationships, rivalries, histories, secrets, ambitions, alliances, betrayals, and consequences.

There are stories within the story, and if we're going to keep track of all of them, we need something more than a notebook full of character profiles and a really, really big spreadsheet.

That's why we're excited to announce our partnership with Inkbreaker.

Arthurian legend has been told and retold for centuries. But Fated isn't simply retelling that legend, we're building our own interpretation of it.

Inkbreaker's World Bible gives the Fated team a central place to organize characters, locations, factions, events, relationships, and other elements of the universe. Instead of treating every story as its own isolated piece, we can begin looking at Fated as one interconnected world.

That becomes especially important as the project expands beyond the musical.

A Fated video game is currently in production, and it's only the beginning of our plans for the universe. As we continue developing additional games, stories, characters, and experiences, maintaining a consistent foundation of lore becomes increasingly important.

A character introduced in the musical might become central to a video game; a location explored in a game might reveal something that changes how you understand a song; a seemingly minor historical event might become the foundation for an entirely new story—and a character who appears in the background of one story might eventually become the hero of another.

This partnership isn't just about what happens behind the scenes, it's about the stories this universe inspires.

As Fated grows, we want our fans to have opportunities to become part of the Fated Universe through their own creative work via writing contests and challenges hosted on Inkbreaker, that will give Fated followers opportunities to explore the world in ways we haven't necessarily imagined ourselves.

There will always be a core Fated canon—the stories, characters, and events that define the official universe—but that doesn't mean there isn't room for you to play in the sandbox.

We want to see your interpretations, alternate histories, and missing scenes; your character studies, romances and heartbreaking tragedies, and ridiculous crackfic…
